You only have one you. So take care of yourself!

Take time to take care of yourself and your body. You only have one body, one mind, and one spirit/soul while you are living. It's important that we all take the time to nourish our spirit and our body properly. This is significant because everything that you do to and with your body can either damage it or benefit it. Our body is our temple. It's just like your home; many people say your home is an outward reflection of you, right? So just like you are what you eat, your body is a direct reflection of all the things you have consumed either spiritually or naturally. So it is important that you take time to take care of the only vessel that you have to live in and house your spiritual being. I had to learn this lesson the hard way and now I understand the significance of eating and consuming healthy foods and beverages. I discovered when I eat healthy foods like lean meats, fish, fruits, and veggies and limit my consumption of foods that contain "empty carbs" or a lot of sugar, I feel better. Not only do I feel better, but my body responds better. I have more energy. When I exercise I feel happier and more content. Sure during the process of exercising I feel a little fatigued and worn out from working my body hard, LOL. But at the end of the workout I feel refreshed and happy. It's like all of the little endorphins rush out and I feel 100% fantastic. So taking the time to be good to you can be rewarding. You will feel better, respond better, and have a better attitude about yourself and others. Trust me I know! I'm speaking from experience. So start with little steps like drinking more water and incorporating more fruits and veggies in your diet. Then begin walking a minimum of 30 min. per day for 6-7 days a week or 1hr per day for 3-4 days a week. You will see a change in your body and your overall appearance, self esteem, and attitude. Be blessed!

It's All About You

Yes, that's right, it is all about you. You have the ability to allow an issue, situation, or circumstance to destroy your joy or not. Your circumstances do not define you, what you are capable of, or what your future will be, YOU DO! It's up to you to keep your joy no matter what. The Joy of the Lord is your strength. Joy strengthens you at all times whether it's a sad, happy, or neutral time, your joy is what fuels you to the next level. Think of it like this a car needs fuel to operate right? So you need the joy of the Lord to remain strengthened and able to fight and defend yourself against the enemy. The devils only objective is to steal, kill, and destroy. He doesn't care who or what he uses to interrupt your blessings he only cares if his plan to steal from you succeeded. The only way he will succeed is if you allow him to take your joy. You have the ability to resist the devil and his antics. The word says resist the devil and he shall flee. He can only torment you if you allow it. Continue to resist the devil and you will see he has no power against the Joy of the Lord that rest rules and abides inside of you. Take back what rightfully belongs to you. You are a child of the most high God so you have the right to maintain and receive every blessing, promise, and all the abundance that belongs to you. Remember it's all about you. You have the power to speak to your situation and cause it to change through your words and actions. Don't take your power and strength for granted use it to overcome and remain blessed.

Embracing Your Salvation and Beauty

Being saved and beautiful on the inside and outside is what you were meant to be. Who told you that you had to be any less? Remember the word of God says that you were fearfully and wonderfully made. So if the word of God describes you as fearfully and wonderfully made, and on top of that it also says you were made in the image of God Himself, then don't you deserve to embrace the beauty that you are in God? I have personally come across several people who are believers in Jesus Christ, but short change themselves from being able to live the life that they were destined to live from the foundation and creation of the world. You are more than what you see in front of you in the mirror everyday. You have the ability to do and be all that you desire to be because you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. So begin to believe in the person that you can become. Begin to believe in your dreams and make them become reality. As long as you have FAITH to believe what you want and desire will be, then it will be. Remember faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen and faith without works is dead. So embrace your salvation in Christ, by faith believe that you can have, be, and do anything you put your mind to. You ARE fearfully and wonderfully made so you are all that beauty encompasses. Embrace your beauty, erase negative self destructive thoughts, and embrace the constructive creative ability you have. Being saved does not mean that you have to give up on having a fulfilled life. You can be saved and still live a fantastically fulfilled life, but it's up to you to embrace who you are and your beauty in Christ. Be Blessed!
